August 29th 2003: Jelena and Nenad lost their mixed doubles match in a third set tie-break thus ending Jelena's 2003 US Open:(

August 29th 2003: Jelena and Nenad Zimonjic will play their first round in Mixed Doubled today vs. Nana Miyagi and Cyril Suk as fourth match on court 9. The match should start at about 3pm local time.

August 28th 2003: Oh No! Jelena lost a match she had already won! After saving a matchpoint in set 2 she could not serve the match out, though she was up 5-2 with two breaks in the final set, and lost 2-6 7-6 and 6-7 :-(

August 26th 2003: Jelena won her opening match at the US-Open vs. Gagliardi after 70 minutes with 6-4 and 6-2. Her next match will be on thursday vs. Mary Pierce. Check back soon for Pierres Match Report and Gerhards second round preview :-)

August 20th 2003: The draw for the 2003 US Open was released today and Jelena will play her first match against Emanuelle Gagliardi. Jelena has won all 5 of their previous meetings including a 6-1, 6-3 win in this year's Wimbledon.

August 19th 2003: Jelena was defeated in the New Haven second round 6-2, 6-1 by Lindsay Davenport.

August 19th 2003: Jelena will be on court within an hour as she faces Lindsay Davenport in the second round of the New Haven tournament.

August 18th 2003: Congratulations to Jelena as today she defeated Meghann Shaughnessy 6-2, 6-4 to advance to the second round in New Haven. She will now face the #1 seed, American Lindsay Davenport, you can read a match preview here.

August 14th 2003: Well things did not go well for Jelena today as she lost 6-3, 6-2 against Vera Zvonareva in the Toronto 3rd round... she will now head to New Haven.

August 12th 2003: Solid win for Jelena today in Toronto as she defeated Angelique Widjaja 6-4, 6-4 to advance to the third round where she will most likely face Vera Zvonareva. In doubles, Jelena and Corina won 7-5, 7-5 to advance to the second round where they will face the #1 seeds Virginia Ruano-Pascual and Paola Suarez.

August 5th 2003: Jelena will after all be up against Svetlana Kuznetsova in her second round, as our own Gerhard is back, he wrote a preview for the match:) The match is scheduled to be the fourth one played on centre court.
