May 10th 2005: Unfortunately, Jelena's tournament in Prague ended with a a 6-4, 6-1 loss today:(

May 9th 2005: Jelena is scheduled to play the fifth match on centre court tomorrow:) Good luck Jela:)

May 9th 2005: Another sign of things getting better for Jelena, we have a new corner from Todd, read: "The road to Morocco.. and beyond". Also, Jelena improved nearly 100 places in the rankings from #450 to #364..!

May 8th 2005: Jelena is back in action this week, playing in Prague, you can see the main draw here:) She is not scheduled to play tomorrow, she'll face Zuzana Ondraskova (#99) up first... good luck Jelena!

May 5th 2005: Jelena's journey in Morocco ended today as she suffered a 6-0, 3-6, 6-2 loss to Na Li, the talented Chinese player. Still, many congrats to Jelena for a great tournament! She will now head to Prague where she is playing next..!

May 3rd 2005: Jelena won another match today, this time a 6-2, 6-3 win against world #135 Lubomira Kurhajcova. Next up for Jelena will be the #1 seed, world #40 Na Li.

May 2nd 2005: WOW! Another win for Jelena and as Todd pointed out on the message board, it's been a while since she won 3 straight matches:) So anyway she defeated Cibulkova 6-4, 6-1 and in the first round will face Ludmira Kurhajcova. Gooooo Jelena!

May 1st 2005: Jelena advanced to the final round of qualifying against an injured opponent who withdrew with Jelena up 5-0... Next up for Jelena is Cibulkova.
