Another loss to Davenport

The match started off in a very scary way as Jelena was completly out of it losing the first 4 games in only a few minutes.. No need to tell you that at that moment I expected Lindsay to take over the match easily as she had done in their last two matchups.. But instead, Jelena was able to rally back and not only win her serve but for the first time in 3 matches, she was able to take Lindsay's serve.. One more serve held and it was 5-4..but breaking Lindsay two times in a row maybe was too much too hope for and Lindsay finished off the first set 6-4..

In the second set, Jelena needed a strong start as the main problem against Lindsay is that she was putting too much pressure on her serve..After winning her first service game, Jelena was broken in the third game to go down 2-1..and from that point on, again things went downhill as if this match had to be a copy of their last two meetings in which Jelena had completly broke down in the second set..So a 6-4, 6-2 loss for Jelena who will be happy to have time to think over her strategy against the top players...
