Q. Some of the points your shots were so amazing, and some of the points you just gave it freely to Jennifer. Could you talk a little about your consistency, what happened?

JELENA DOKIC: I think it was just concentration. I had so many chances in the first set, and I think we were both really nervous. That was the difference. I was just really -- you know, when I went for my shots, I played well. When I was tentative and defensive, I didn't play well. When I was nervous - and that's I think what happened on my serve - I would get too tight and tentative, and that's all that happened.

Q. Looking forward to the grass court season, you're going to Birmingham?

JELENA DOKIC: Yes.

Q. Why did you decide to go there?

JELENA DOKIC: Maybe it's good to have two weeks on grass before Wimbledon. I don't know. I just wanted to get another tournament in. It's always a tough field there every year, so maybe it's a good thing to go, you know, get some good matches before Wimbledon, just test it all out. Because it's not a long season, grass is not a long season like clay is. You don't have four or five tournaments. You (can/can't?) afford not to do well in one or two. But I wanted to have a practice week there. Birmingham, no matter how well I do, I will concentrate on Eastbourne and Wimbledon.

Q. You'll be top seed at Birmingham and Eastbourne. Do you feel you'll be the center of attention?

JELENA DOKIC: I think seeding won't really matter. I think for me it's just important to get some matches in. You know, I mean, might be a little bit more pressure on me. But that's fine. You know, I really look forward to the grass court.

Q. Is grass your favorite surface or one of your favorite?

JELENA DOKIC: I'd have to say so, yeah.
