Tough win for Jelena in Linz

Sure some could blame Jelena for going 3 sets against Majoli but that would be underestimating her. Sure Majoli isn't in the top 20, but when she is playing well, she certainly has the game to be there..she just needs to always be consistent.

And today, it was the good Iva Majoli who showed up and Jelena had a hard time getting through. After a very tight first set, Jelena was finally able to win it 7-6.

But then, complete change of situation as Majoli fought back and was able to start the second set by playing outstanding tennis making Jelena hit a lot more shots and running to a 5-2 lead.. But Jelena fought back to force a second set tie-break that she unfortunatly lost...

In the third set however, Jelena's consistency paid off as she was able to maintain a high level of play and win the match 7-6, 6-7, 6-3...
