Jelena gets crushed in Zurich final

Jelena had a tough task in front of her today in the final of the Swisscom Challenge and unfortunatly was unable to prevail and win a fourth title of the year..

So Davenport was able to win the match 6-3, 6-1 in 1h02, certainly a very disapointing result for Jelena. After playing a tough three set match against Davenport at the start of the year, she has lost the last two matches against Davenport in straight sets...

Sure there is no shame in losing to Davenport but still it is what Jelena will need to do if she wants to get to the next step, the top 5...

But for now, I guess that Jelena should not put too much pressure on herself and just be happy as she still reached the final and will now advance past Serena Williams in the rankings next Monday.
