 Another problem


         Rain has taken charge of the Bausch & Lomb Championships this year,which is a totally shame,since this area hosts the best small event on
the WTA tour. Yesterday,Jelena needed three sets to oust Elena
Dementieva,than she had to play Henin,and the question was:''How ready is she?''We all hoped that
Jelena is not that injured,that she can win two matches in a row.And why not?If she can't do it,who can?But sometimes,you can't go beyond your limits,no mother how high they are. From the first set,Jelena was a little bit nervous.It was Henin who controlled the match. ''It was difficult for me to find my game in the early going,so I was glad to be up 4:0''-Henin said. Henin was solid,she returned lots of shots,pushed Jelena from side to side,and waited for Jelena's errors. ''She seemed to be frustrated in that she had to hit a lot of balls until she could get her points.I know what it's like to play against a player when everything you hit is coming back to you.It's frustrating,for sure.''-Henin said. Henin controlled the match from the start.She broke Jelena twice in the first four games of the first set to take a 4:0 lead.Than,Jelena held her serve in the fifth and seventh games.But that was all.It was too much to ask.While Jelena struggled to find a rhythm,Henin didn't sense that Jelena wasn't feeling well. ''I was a little bit surprised,because I didn't know she was sick.I was ready to finish the match as soon as possible,but you never know what's going to happen.It was not bad timing for me,because I had played another match earlier in the day.''-Henin said.

The match only lasted 42 minutes.But Jelena,trailing 4:1 in the second set,retired due to illness.The
official diagnosis was listed as a stomach virus. ''I think it's better to stop when you're not 100
%''-Henin finished.
