Emanuelle Gagliardi was born on 9th of July 1976 in the swiss town Geneva.The righthanded player has grown up to 172 cm (5`7"inch) and reached no 46
at the world ranking until today, which is her all time best position.

To gain the honour to play Jelena on her birthday, she beat Alina Jidkova 6-2 and 7-5 in round 1, and Meilen Tu 6-4, 5-7 and 6-4 in round 2. It seemed like nobody on the whole planet was interested in how those matches went, because I could not find anything about them beside the results.
