Dokic / Panova def. Po / Zvereva 7-6 (8), 6-7 (5) and 6-4

What a win for our girls today at the first round of the doubles competition of Filderstadt.

The finalists of Moscow took an early break at set one and built up their lead to 5-2, but then Jelena was not able to hold her serve and though Dokic/Panova had set points at 5-2, 5-3 and 5-4 they needed a tie-break to win the first set 7-6 (8).

Set wwoi as completely different. After 4 deuce-games Jelena and Nadja were down 0-4 and Nadja took an injury break after 0-5 because of some shoulder problems. Then they started a comeback as they won 5 straight games to equal the score and after two hold service games the second set had to be decided by a tie-break, again. Unfortunaltely this time Zvereva and Po won it 7-5.

The third set started like set one (Jelena/Nadja 5-2 up), and continued like set one (5-2, 5-3, 5-4....) but then they broke Zverevas serve and Jelena had the honour to smash the match-point between her opponents to decide the match.

Jelena and Nadja just looked great on court, where talking and joking a lot and had a great "visual" conversationwith Nadjas coach adn Enrique, who seem to be good friends, too.

Damir was watchin the beginning of the match but left after 2-1 in set 1 ! ? ! ? ! ?
