October 30th 2002: Jelena-dokic.com continues its drive to become the most international fan site as today we have added an Italian version of the biography. Thank you to Jaki Calza! Also, today more photos in gallery #82!

October 27th 2002: Wouhou! Jelena and Nadia won the doubles title in Linz with a 6-3, 6-2 win today against Fugiwara and Sugiyama!:) Read a report about the match here:)

October 26th 2002: Jelena and Nadia advanced to the doubles final in Linz with a 7-5, 6-0 win today vs Panova and Krasnoroutskaya! Congrats girls:)

October 25th 2002: As always lots has been going on in Jelena's personal life lately.. Some of this is old news, some isn't but anyway basically there are many rumors because of Jelena apparently asking the Linz tournament to not give a press pass to her father Damir, who has oppenly said he did not think Jelena dating Enrique Bernoldi was a good idea. You can read about the family situation here and here. Also, it's nothing new but Jelena did confirm she would not play the 2003 Australian Open, more about it here. October 20th 2002: Jelena and Nadia lost their doubles match today in the Zurich final, a 6-2, 7-6 (2) loss. Jelena will now head to linz where she is the #2 seed! You can see the full draw here.

October 19th 2002: Jelena and Petrova won their doubles match today against Lee/Prakusya 6-1, 6-2 to reach the final:) Congrats!

October 18th 2002: Good performance by Jelena in doubles as she and Petrova won 6-4, 6-3 against Po and Zvereva. By the way, we received a report from a fan who was at Jelena's singles match yesterday, read it here,

October 17th 2002: Wow, a very tight match today for Jelena in Zurich as she faced Alexandra Stevenson... After losing the first set 8-6 in the tie break, she bounced back to win the second 6-4. But in the end, Jelena was broken at 5-6 in the third set. One major point, Alexandra served 15 aces against 0 for Jelena during the match.. ore double faults also but still:(

October 16th 2002: Jelena and Nadia Petrova won their doubles match today against Farina-Elia/Vinci 6-4, 7-5!:) They will now face Po and Zvereva..

October 14th 2002: You can read Todd Spiker's Jelena Corner column for this week! And also great news as Jelena advanced without any problems to the second round in Zurich a 6-1, 6-4 win over Iva Majoli! Next up she will face Ai Sugiyama or a qualifier:) By the way, I think we would all agree that it is a positive sign that Jelena did admit today she was playing too much and would cut down on tournaments in 2003.. Also, by the way, Jelena did say she did not intend on playing for YUG in international competitions such as Fed Cup or the Olympics..

October 13th 2002: Hello everyone! Ok, first off today you can read the Zurich preview sent out by Conchita Slice here. Also, in today's edition of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, the biggest German newspaper they have a mention about this website. Read a partial translation here.

October 12th 2002: The draw for next week's tournament in Zurich is out. Jelena will be the #5 seed in singles and also playing doubles with Petrova. You can see the full draw here.

October 11th 2002: Jelena and Nadia Petrova lost their doubes match 6-3, 6-1 today against Shaughnessy/Suarez. You can read Gerhard's report here.

October 11th 2002: Here is a match report by Gerhard who saw Jelena lose yesterday against Panova. He will be trying to get more info about the loss today...

October 10th 2002: More upsets in Filderstadt as this time it was Jelena who was ousted, a 6-1 third set that certainly leaves many doubts about her current shape:( Gerhard should provide more details about the match later on..

October 9th 2002: Good news, in very up and down match, Jelena and Nadia Petrova own their doubles first round in Filderstadt, a 7-6, 6-7, 6-4 win over Po/Zvereva! They led 5-1 and were trailing 5-0 in the second so pretty big comebacks! Jelena-dokic's Gerhard Grundhammer was at the match and should have more details later!

October 8th 2002: I just received Gerhard's preview for Jelena's second round in singles..:) You can read it here. He should see the match live and give us some details:) That match will be played on Thursday, but Jelena will play doubles tomorrow...

October 7th 2002: Sorry for the delay, I thought I had put this up already but Jelena and Nadia Petrova lost in the doubles final of Moscow 7-6 in the third set against Husarova and Dementieva:( Jelena now heads to Filderstadt where she will face Tatiana Panova in the second round. Gerhard's preview should be up shortly!

October 6th 2002: Jelena should be the #3 seed next week in Filderstadt, Germany! You can read Glyn James' preview for that tournament here.

October 5th 2002: Jelena and Nadia Petrova advanced to the doubles final in Moscow today with a 4-6, 6-4, 6-3 win over Bovina/Dechy! They will face Dementieva/Husarova.. Just a reminder, last time Jelena faced Husarova in doubles, her and Kim Clijsters accused Husarova of cheating by receiving coaching from her father.. so it should be interesting!

October 2nd 2002: Jelena and Nadia Petrova advanced to the third round in Moscow when Anna Kournikova stopped the doubles match after two sets due to a sprained ankle.. (Jelena and Nadia had won the first set and lost the second)... They will now face Bovina/Dechy or Grande/Serna.

October 2nd 2002: :( Jelena was defeated in three tough sets today in the second round of the Kremlin Cup in Moscow by Amanda Coetzer 7-6, 3-6, 6-3..

October 1st 2002: Jelena and Nadia Petrova won their first round in doubles, a 6-1, 6-2 win over Rodionova and Wartusch. They will now face #2 seed Kournikova and Shaughnessy.
